I admit that I'm putting together two big subjects in one small blog. But I believe that they go together so perfectly. As God's disciples, we are incredibly privileged to work together! How else can we see this huge task complete? We can NOT do it alone!
Equip2serve is blessed to have a diverse team! We come from many different backgrounds and live in different countries. We appreciate the uniqueness of each team member. Without our team members, the task would seem more daunting!
Our Liberian International director, George Lott, is a man whose heart is to evangelize his people. We are privileged to know and work with George. He not only helps Equip2serve teach when we are in the country but he does a lot of travelling and teaching on his own! This last year when Ebola was wrecking havoc through the country, and we couldn't make our way to Liberia, George was faithfully teaching. Making disciples.
Another way that George & Lucy are team building with us is through the hospitality they show while our teams are in Liberia teaching. They are great hosts! Lucy cooks for us and prepares a wonderful African "palm butter" sauce (she holds off on the pepper though!). Just recently, we as a team decided to expand Lucy's little kitchen and add a guest facility. Ken Welch and Hank Demark have been working hard at seeing this project to completion. Lord willing, by March, the building will be completed.
Just last year, we began discipling believers in Ghana. God is moving and opening doors for us to go interior. Unknown to us, God was moving and shaking Paul & Anna Adin to begin church planting interior. We met Paul & Anna on our first trip last April. Although not members of Equip2serve, Paul is serving an important role and link with us in discipling men & women. Paul was able to find housing and is settling into life in a new location. He & Anna have graciously opened their home to host our team when we teach interior. What a blessing!

Two families in two different countries, yet striving for the same goal....making disciples! We are honored that God would allow us to partner with these dear people. There are so many others that we haven't mentioned. It does take a TEAM! And we are so blessed to follow and obey God's great commission of making disciples!
